Orgaworld Visit

Have you ever wondered what a municipal composting facility would look like? Orgaworld is charged with composting the organic material collected from Ottawa’s Green Bin Program and have invited ten (10) Carleton members of SEEDS and ten (10) UofO members of SEEDS for a vist!

The visit is set to take place on Thursday March 22nd. Selected students will meet at 9 am in parking lot P2 and carpooling to the site facilities located in Ottawa’s east end (approximately 30 minutes away). There is no charge for the event however you will be responsible to bring your own safety equipment including:

  •  Safety boots or boots with rubber soles or hiking boots
  • Hard hat
  • Clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty

This invitation is open to all SEEDS members, however the space is limited, therefore please reserve your spot by clicking here. Selection of students will be made on a first come, first serve basis.

  • Admission: Free
