Living our Environmental Challenge

Did you know that thanks to the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at Carleton, all events at the Ottawa International Writer’s Festival are free for Carleton students? It’s true! This Saturday the festival presents Living our Environmental Challenge with with Tzeporah Berman, William Marsden and Chris Turner.

Bringing together three passionate ecological experts, this event is a crucial overview of Earth’s environmental challenge and the road to a sustainable economy. William Marsden is the author of Stupid to the Last Dropand Fools Rule. Chris Turner, one of Canada’s leading writers on sustainability and the global cleantech industry, is the author of The Geography of Hope and The Leap. Tzeporah Berman, author of This Crazy Time, is the founder of ForestEthics and PowerUp Canada, and is currently Climate and Energy Co-Director of Greenpeace International.
