Beach Volleyball Game

Beach volleyball game THIS Saturday!

The rumors are true, there is a SEEDS Chapter in the works at the University of Ottawa! For their first event, they would like to host regular volleyball games this summer at Money’s Bay and everyone is invited!

The first game will be THIS Saturday April 30th starting at 4p.m. at Mooney’s Bay park (2926 Riverside Drive). The  #87 bus services the park. Just make sure to get off at the Riverside/Ridgewood stop.

We also have to rent a net, so please bring a couple of dollars ($5 max) to contribute to renting a net. If you have a net and would like to let us borrow it, please let us know!

Flush your toilet with grey water

Cool design to reuse water

Check out this cleaver design that allows you to reuse the water from your bathroom sink to flush your toilet. Its called the AQUS system and is described in more details here. What a great way to reduce our water usage… now, only if it didn’t cost almost $300!
