The Carleton University Chapter of the Canadian Society for Civil Engineers (CSCE) is hosting their annual bridge building competition against the University of Ottawa chapter of the CSCE. Teams of 4-6 students will build and crush a bridge built from simple materials. The event will be hosted in the atrium of the Unicentre on November 13th, from 1-5 pm followed by dinner. Crushing will be done on Friday, November 19th, in the Civil engineering laboratory at Carleton. If interested, you can pick up an application form from CU-CSCE (3336 ME) or UofO-CSCE (CBY A08).
